Our good friends at Daily Drama have taken another dive into our archive and, after a good, long root around, they’ve come up with a classic clip that we’re sure you’ll enjoy!
A Daily Drama Podcast Throwback
Last year, co-hosts Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson welcomed General Hospital vet Brad Maule (ex-Tony Jones) to reflect on his storied tenure at the ABC soap — and nothing was off limits. From Tony’s dalliances with flighty temptress Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and vendetta-bearing Carly (then Sarah Brown, now Laura Wright) to his ultimately doomed loved affairs with Tania and Bobbie (played by the late, great Jacklyn Zeman), it all got a mention as did a storyline that Burton claims still gives him “goosebumps!”
Yes, we’re talking of course about the death of Tony’s beloved daughter BJ and the transplantation of her heart into cousin Maxie (Kirsten Storms).
In the clip above, Maule reflects on the harrowing plot twist and drops a few bombshell revelations about “that scene” — you know, the one where Tony listens to BJ’s heart beating in his niece’s chest.
