This week’s episode of The Daily Drama Podcast — brought to you by DailyDrama.com — saw General Hospital’s Katelyn MacMullen (Willow) put in a return appearance to talk and tease all things Willow.
Putting In The Hardwork
At the top of the interview, you’ll learn that the trio’s reunion was weeks in the making — all owning to MacMullen’s rigid class schedule. What classes you ask? Is she studying to become a doctor? A veterinarian? Rocket scientist? Pash! It’s ACTING classes.
Not only is MacMullen hard at work honing her craft, but she’s readying for a play that’ll open at the Playhouse West and discussing the finer points of her character’s development with her acting coach.
The 4-1-1 On Willow
Another podcast, another clear sign that Burton is laser focused on his storyline and his storyline alone. But even Bradford was in the same boat when it came to detailing Willow’s life story. Both men were floored to learn of Willow’s mangled maternity story (yes, we suppose she does have “two mommies”), and of her battle with leukemia, and even the number of children she mothers.
A Sign Of Things To Come?
Like many a fan before him, Burton had concerns and questions in regard in to Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Willow’s recent “weird” scenes, particularly his dropping by her and Michael’s (Chad Duell) abode and staying for wine and a chat. MacMullen could but “Hmmmmm” and strike her best “How very interesting you bring that up good sir,” pose.
And speaking of Drew, yes Burton, he IS Jason’s brother. His TWIN brother, in point of fact. And a hero to boot, lest anyone forget it was he who helped bring Obrecht home so that she could rejuvenate Willow with her bone marrow.
The Possibilities Are Endless
As for what else the future may hold for Miss Willow, MacMullen was tight lipped (as every good actor should be). But if she had her way, the writers would delve into different sides of Willow and perhaps bring the debate of nature vs. nurture to the forefront. “My [acting] coach and I have always joked about it would be awesome if Willow kind of went crazy.” She does come by it naturally, after all.
