The road to GH was a long one for the Long Island native. LITERALLY. It took some six days for him and his fiancée and their dog to make the journey from the East Coast to the West, but the trio are adapting to their new environs in West Hollywood with ease.
He’s a 15-20 minute drive from the Prospect Studio, he’s scoped out the beaches at Santa Monica and Venice — which he grants has changed quite a bit since last he was there (many years before) — and there are trails a plenty for hiking.

Said Wilson: “It’s going great. I’m actually walking more here than I was in New York. I have a husky and he needs 4 miles a day.”
The actor has also survived the baptism by fire that is working on a daytime soap. In one day, he had to stand and deliver 50 pages of dialogue, a “wild” ordeal like no other. “I learned a lot about the process, and I learned a lot about myself that day”
Wilson has also been left with “so much respect for the whole genre of this. I had no idea coming into this, no idea [how difficult it would be].”
Summing up his experience thus far, Wilson offered: “What we do…[we make] instant coffee taste like the most premium French roast you’ve ever had…that’s what I’m really learning right now, and I’m so grateful to have this experience.”
