This week cohosts Bradford Anderson and Steve Burton welcomed actress, author, hoofer, and shaper of young minds Finola Hughes (Anna Devane, General Hospital) to The Daily Drama Podcast — brought to you by DailyDrama.com. First and foremost, three cheers for super trooper Hughes who gamely interrupted her vacay from work (GH is on a dark week) to join Anderson and Burton on video.

The front half of the actress’ interview is given over to detailing an endeavor that is near and dear to her heart, namely, the two-semester course she teaches at the School of Dramatic Arts – USC.

Hughes talks about how the opportunity presented itself (and it has everything to do with her make-it-happen attitude), the student production that she helmed, and provides a peek into the curriculum she created.

But, of course, it’s not all about collegiates. Hughes reflects on Anna’s recent past — including the…um…”incident” that seemed to forever tear ‘Vana’ asunder — present, and potential future (maybe there’s hope for an Anna/Valentin reunion yet).

She also makes clear which of Anna’s many storylines is most near and dear to heart — no prizes for guessing right (her answers never changed).
