Yes, Steve Burton Is Off The Market
Wednesday, May 15 was a day of breaking news, a day to celebrate. Yes, there was the little matter of Jason and Spinelli finally coming face-to-face on GH, but also, Daily Drama exclusively confirmed that Burton was in a relationship with culinary artist Michelle Lundstrom. “An amazing, amazing woman,” Burton enthused, to which Anderson could but agree.
Reunited And It Feels So Good
The personal well and truly out of the way, it was time to get down to business — the business of soap, that is. First and foremost, Anderson granted that Jason and Spinelli’s wasn’t exactly “extensive. We didn’t have, like, a five-scene heart-to-heart.” But no doubt many a fan thought that what was on offer was worth the wait.
Unbeknownst to the gents, who’ll be pleased to hear it, the day’s director did keep their little “you fix my tie, you block me from fixing yours” improve.
And as for the viewer who mused that Jason’s blue suit and purple-tinged tie wasn’t exactly…well, Jason, Burton sees you and wholeheartedly agrees.
Fun Fact: A furor broke out behind the scenes when Burton and Anderson came together and noticed that they were, in the former’s own words, “literally wearing the same suit and tie” resulting in Burton’s blue tie being switched to the one that made it to air.
Looking Forward
As the podcast drew to a close, Burton offered a most promising update, enthusing that, “I’m excited man. Things are looking great for the show. I’m having a lot of great scenes.”
And GH devotees can look forward for more Jason/Spinelli and even Jason/Spinelli/Maxie, not to mention some “cool stuff coming up in the warehouse.”
