At the top of the video, the dynamic duo revealed that they’d just watched Thursday’s airshow and that they’d seen some things. Some very confusing things. Namely, “little James” going to Ned — Quartermaine, not Flanders — and inquiring whether or not he kisses people on the mouth.
“It seems if anybody’s going to talk ‘Birds and Bees’ with little James, it should be the father figure that lives in his house,” quipped Anderson — who then had to hilariously (and loudly) inform that Burton that it was Spinelli of whom he spoke.
ICYMI: ANDERSON AND BURTON ARE SET TO FINALLY FILM SOME MORE SCENES TOGETHER!
And speaking of kissing people on the mouth, the two just had to discuss Jason and Anna’s buss. Talk about a Cliffhanger Thursday!
The Daily Drama Podcast – What Is In A Kiss?
On approaching said smooch, Burton mused: “This was a little hard to navigate in the sense that, ‘Oh, we’re both dying and then you just kiss” – these are two people that have been in danger their whole lives. I don’t think Jason has a great fear of dying. So then you have to go ‘What really is this about?’ And then you look at, maybe Jason doesn’t want to die; he has kids. Maybe he doesn’t want to be away…maybe he appreciates being there more…You have to go over these conversations with the writers, to say ‘Hey, is this just a cliffhanger? What is this?’ ….
“So, I don’t think I’m 100% wrong, or right, [but] from the writers’ standpoint [it’s] Jason and Anna have had a good alliance, they have worked together well, and this is a point where two people — we believe we’re going to die — …so it’s about figuring that out…you could tell it was emotional…”
Before wrapping the episode, Burton and Anderson rapped about the melding of “Classic GH” with “New GH” and the latter promised that there was “More fun stuff coming” Color us intrigued!
