* Deadline is reporting that Lauralee Bell and Michael Damian are set to return to The Young and the Restless this June — they’ll hit the set at the tail end of April — while the former will pop up in a trio of Bold and the Beautiful episodes scheduled to air April 24, 25, and 28. The special occasion? A fashion show, natch!
Said Bell in a statement to the outlet: “You never know when [B&B EP and headwriter] Brad Bell calls, if I’m going to be asked a [sibling] question or if I can come to B&B for a couple of days. He established this collaboration. Years ago I represented Ridge [Ron Moss] on a court case, and then several months ago, Danny and Christine stopped in during the summer because we’re on tour and he’s the rock star. And then they used Danny’s music for a Brooke’s Bedroom lingerie line. So the tie-in continues!”
On the subject of Christine and Danny’s renewed romance, Bell enthused: “There’s still so much more to say and there’s still so much more story to go.”
* Daytime Emmy-award-winner Mishael Morgan (ex-Amanda Sinclair/ex-Hilary Curtis, The Young and the Restless) will feature in Hallmark’s Hearts Around the Table: Jenna’s First Love, premiering Saturday, March 22 at 8PM EST.
* Tyler Perry‘s Beauty in Black has been renewed for a second season. The soaptastic Netflix original, which features All My Children grad Debbi Morgan amongst its sprawling ensemble, concerns a young stripper whose life “takes an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with a powerful, wealthy, yet very dysfunctional family behind a cosmetic empire and a devious trafficking scheme.”
Perry said in a statement: “We left fans on the edge of their seats at the end of Season 1, and we’re thrilled to continue Kimmie’s journey as she steps into her power as the newest member of the Bellarie family.
“Kimmie exemplifies the spirit of never underestimating the underdog, and I can’t wait for fans to continue to see her story unfold. If you thought Season 1 was a wild ride, you’re not ready for Season 2.
* Guiding Light alums – – and real-life besties — Suzy Cote Ciccolini (ex-Samantha Marler) and Jocelyn Seagrave (ex-Julie Camaleti) are next up for The Locher Room. The episode goes live Wednesday, March 12, at 7:30PM EST / 4:30 PST.
