Francisco San Martin, probably best known for playing Fabian Regalo del Cielo, one of Jane The Virgin‘s messy courters, was found deceased in his Los Angeles home on January 16. He was 39.

According to the LA County Coroner’s Office, the actor unalivened himself by hanging.
San Martin originated the role of Dario Hernandez in Days of our Lives, and had a brief arc in The Bold and the Beautiful as a pawn in Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) marital machinations. His other credits include Behind the Candelabra

* Daytime Makes A Difference, the fundraising Zoom co-hosted by General Hospital stars Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) and Josh Kelly (Cody), raised $28,875 which will be divided between three charities: World Central Kitchen, the Pasadena Humane Society, and the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation.

* The results of the paternity test that Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda, The Bold and the Beautiful) ran on Luna (Lisa Yamada) come in on Friday (January 24), and actor Ted King, whose alter ego may or may not be the father, teased to TVInsider, “It’s a great storyline because of the duplicitous behavior that’s taken place and all of the interesting possibilities that could come from it.
“I told that to Brad [Bell, B&B’s executive producer/headwriter] at the holiday party. I found myself thinking, ‘Oh wow, so this is what’s going to happen?! That’s a whole new layer that I hadn’t thought of before I got those scripts.’ I really enjoyed it.”
* Jeffrey Vincent Parise (ex-Dr. Joseph ‘Joe’ Rivera; ex-Carlos Rivera, General Hospital) is set to guest star on tonight’s (January 21, 2025) episode of High Potential.
The ABC comedic procedural (a remake of HPI, a French and Belgian coproduction) stars Katlin Olson as Morgan, a single mom of three and a high-potential intellectual with an IQ of 160. “After figuring out a case using her unconventional mind, she becomes a consultant for the LAPD’s Major Crimes division.”
In ‘Chutes and Murde,’ a nanny is found bludgeoned to death in the park. Elsewhere, Morgan interferes when Elliot admits to not being invited to his classmate’s party.
* Per Deadline, Hot Bench‘s Judge Michael Corriero will hang up his robe for the final time when the syndicated court show wraps its current 11th season.
Corriero said in a statement: “At the beginning of this past year, after almost 9 years on Hot Bench, I made it clear to everyone that this would be my final season. It was time to pass the torch or, should I say, the gavel. I will miss the challenge, my beloved colleagues and the entire Hot Bench team.”
According to the report, Corriero’s colleagues, Judge Rachel Juarez and Judge Yodit Tewolde, will return for an already-ordered Season 12. Corriero’s replacement has not been named.
