The 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards were doled out to the dolled-up deserving on Friday during a ceremony held at the historic Westin Bonaventura in Los Angeles, California.

The Bold and the Beautiful, which led the pack with 10 nominations across the eight categories netted Thorsten Kaye the trophy for Outstanding Lead Actor while General Hospital, who trailed behind with but 7 nominations won, amongst others, Outstanding Daytime Drama, Outstanding Writing, and Outstanding Directing.
Days of our Lives and The Young and the Restless, which racked up nine nominations a piece took home, respectively, Outstanding Guest Performance (collected by “Living Legend” Dick Van Dyke) and Outstanding Supporting Actress and Outstanding Lead Actress.
Other highlights of the ceremony included the bestowing of the Lifetime Achievement Award on real-life “supecouple” Ed Scott and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman, The Young and the Restless).
