The Emma Westenberg helmed Bleeding Love is proving to be a real family affair. Not only does the road-trip drama star real-life-father-daughter-duo Ewan and Clara McGregor, but included amongst the sprawling cast is soap veteran Kim Zimmer and her boy, actor Jake Weary, whose wife, Vera Bulder helped contribute to the flick’s creation!
Kim Zimmer And Son To Appear In Bleeding Love
Bleeding Love concerns a father driving his estranged daughter to a rehab facility, unbeknownst to her. “Along the way they meet all types of strangers, as their strained relationship is put to the test.”
Weary, formerly Luke Snyder on As the World Turns and probably best known for playing Deran Cody on Animal Kingdom, will play the daughter’s love interest, while Zimmer makes a brief but memorable appearance as Elsie, a tow truck driver/mechanic who aids father and daughter when their car breaks down.
Zimmer first promoted the film early last year — back when it was titled You Sing Loud, I Sing Louder and had been selected into the South by Southwest Film Festival. “I have a small but juicy role in it and get to share the screen with Ewan McGregor and Clara McGregor!” she gushed on Instagram. ” Oh yes, my son Jake Weary and Vera Bulder are in it too! Congrats team!!
