Some big names are heading your way this week…and some departing the scene. Get the scoop on all the latest soap comings and goings for the week of March 31st.
Comings and Goings
Beyond The Gates
* No casting news to report.
The Bold and the Beautiful
* Daytime TV’s preeminent waffler is back on the scene. Scott Clifton’s Liam emerges on Thursday, April 3 to blast his pops.
Days of our Lives
* At the top of the week, George DelHoyo’s Orpheus menaces Marlena (Deidre Hall), but he’s felled by Christopher Sean’s alter-ego, Knight in Shinning Armor Paul Nairta…maybe! Meanwhile, look for Paul’s onscreen lover, suave (not-so) secret agent Andrew Donovan (played by returning fan favorite Colton Little) to lend his own assist. DelHoyo, who first played Orpheus between 1986 to 1987, and has returned for sporadic visits 2016, was last on screen in 2023.
General Hospital
* With the hospital set to take center stage on Tuesday, Cassandra James’ Terry and Risa Dorken’s Amy will be featured.
* Eva LaRue and Carlo Rota get more screen time as bickering (secret) exes Natalia Ramirez and Jenz Sidwell.
* Bryce Durfee racks up another appearance as Vaughan.
* That’s award-winning director, stunt performer, and actor Jeff Wolfe playing thug for hire Soloski.
* James Patrick Stuart wrapped up yet another stint as Valentin Cassadine on Monday, March 24. With his alter-ego bound for Geneva’s Steinmauer Maximum Security Prison, it would appear that fans have seen the last of the much-loved ABC daytime alum…but appearances can be deceiving! After all, Valentin has popped up many times since he absconded from the law in July of 2024. And though Stuart and his wife have put down roots in Portland, Oregon, he wouldn’t be the first actor to commute over great distances.
Meanwhile, Rena Sofer’s Lois will soon be back on screen, tail between her legs, begging Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) pardon. Per Soap Opera Digest, Ms Cerullo’s self-imposed relocation to Bensonhurst was necessitated by Sofer’s casting in Death On the Brandywine, “a twisty-turny whodunit,” opposite Tuc Watkins (ex-David Vickers, One Life to Live; ex-Pierce Dorman, GH) and Walt Willey (ex-Jackson Montgomery, All My Children et al.); the actress is already back in the studio.
The Young and the Restless
* Beth Maitland’s Traci remains front and center, determined as she is to uncover the truth about errant Alan (Christopher Cousins).
* Valarie Pettirford’s Amy will share scenes with play son Jermaine Rivers, AKA Damian, and Sean Dominic’s Nate on Tuesday, April 1.
* Elizabeth Hendrickson’s Chloe will be on hand to give gal pal Sally (Courtney Hope) some not-so-sound advice.
* Tracey Bregman’s Lauren makes quite the request of Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) on Thursday, April 3: “I need you to betray your marriage.”
* Mishael Morgan (Amanda Sinclair; ex-Hilary Curtis, The Young and the Restless) is bound for Genoa City. Per Deadline, the actress is already back on set, filming scenes for a guest arc that will commence later this spring. Morgan last appeared on the CBS sudser in February of 2024.
