The actor wrote in part: “I’ve been keeping a low profile as I commute to the wonderful world of [Beyond The Gates] created by my brilliant dear friend [Michele Val Jean]. Personally I think this show is going to blow the roof off daytime & I could not be more proud to make even a small contribution to this ground-breaker.”

Set to premiere Monday, February 24, 2025, Beyond The Gates “is set in a leafy Maryland suburb just outside of Washington D.C., and in one the most affluent African American counties in the United States.
