There are some big names heading your way this week…and some departing the scene. Get the scoop on all the latest soap comings and goings for the week of December 23rd.
Comings and Goings
The Bold and the Beautiful
As previously detailed, Ashley Jones (Bridget Forrester), Alley Mills (Pam Douglas), and Jennifer Gareis (Donna Logan Forrester) are all returning to the canvas for the festive season — and to pass judgment on the recent dramatic goings on. Jones last featured in September; Mills in August.
Murielle Hilaire will debut as Daphne on January 7, 2025.
Days of our Lives
Deidre Hall and Galen Gering are set to play double duty next week when their characters’ doppelgänger, Hattie Adams and Arnold Feniger, respectively, return to the scene.
Sal Stowers’ Lani and Lamon Archey’s Eli continue to celebrate the holiday season with the Carver/Price clan. Jules and Carver’s wee portrayers Dion and Raegen Yancy and Zyair and Zamir Ashford also feature.
Finley Rose Slater will be in scenes opposite play parent Stack Haiduk (AKA Kristen DiMera) and “Auntie” Sal Stowers come Thursday, December 26.
The Kerr twins, who debuted back in May, are back as Xander’s (Paul Telfer) and Sarah’s (Linsey Godfrey) bundle of joy.
Her pregnancy notwithstanding, Sophia’s (Madelyn Kientz) life is about to get a whole lot more dramatic with the introduction of her dragon mother, Amy. Shi Ne Nielson, a jobbing actress whose roles include a previous stint in DAYS as Nurse Kay and a small arc as Detective Sheryl Gordon on The Young and the Restless, has been tapped for the part.
General Hospital
Robert Gossett’s return as Marshall Ashford continues.
The Young and the Restless
The Abbott family Christmas will be made all the sweeter with contributions from Eileen Davidson’s Ashley and Beth Maitland’s Traci.
Telma Hopkins’ Denise Tolliver remains on the Damian Lewis case. She’ll pop in with yet another update on Friday, December 27.
Michael Damian’s alter-ego is back from his whirl-wind tour on Wednesday, December 25. As previously reported, he and leading lady Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair) will also be seen on December 30 and January 2
In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Bell teased the set-up: “Cricket leaves Danny’s tour a few days early to spend time with Nina in Los Angeles. Due to a series of obstacles, Cricket and Danny spending time together during the holidays is suddenly at risk as they both try their hardest to make it back to Genoa City in time to ring in the new year together.”
