“First, Im doing well,” noted the actres in her Instagram post. My 8+ month diagnostic journey came to a climax while I spent Christmas week in the hospital.”
During her time at UCLA, Dorken underwent “emergency gallbladder removal surgery” and developed, amongst other ailments, jaundice.
At the end of her harrowing journey, Dorken could but conclude, “Health. Mental Health. It’s all that matters.”

* John Silberman (ex-Noah Mayer, As the World Turns) popped the question to longtime partner, and fellow thespian/producer, Erica Pappas while on vacation in Oaxaca, Mexico.
* The Bold and the Beautiful debuted a (slightly) updated opening credit sequence on December 30 (2024), and fans took notice of the conspicuous absence of actors Joshua Hoffman (RJ Forrester) and Matthew Atkinson (Thomas Forrester). Both gents names still appeared in the closing credits of that episode, calling into question their status with the CBS sudser. Atkinson last appeared onscreen in July.
* Sal Stowers (Lani Grant, Days of our Lives) and her fiancé, John-Michael Carlton, have settled on a wedding date-ish. The bride-to-be explained to Soap Opera Digest that they are looking to hold the ceremony “sometime next year.”
