The male population of Genoa City is set to grow by one come the new year. The Young and the Restless have hired former Days of our Lives and Devious Maids star Nathan Owens to play…well, the jury’s still out on that one.

The soap is keeping the particulars of Owens’ character under wraps, though best bet is he’s playing Nate Hastings’ heretofore unknown half-brother, Damian. The actor is set to debut on Wednesday, January 8. Deadline was the first to report.
The model-turned-actor is most likely known to daytime viewers for his turn as Cameron Davis on DAYS, a medical student from a low-income background who was forced to show off his ass-ets at the local strip club to make ends meet. He last appeared in Salem in 2013. Owens’ other acting credits include recurring roles in Batwoman and 911: Lone Star.

* In a recent episode of his YouTube series, Bold Live, The Bold and the Beautiful‘s supervising producer Casey Kasprzyk and actress Romy Park (Poppy Nozawa) teased what’s to come for her alter-ego in 2025, namely, the true origin of her feud with big sister Li (Naomi Matsuda).
Park shared: “We’ve been doing those scenes now and…working with Naomi is great. And it’s really good to reconnect with her. It’s been a while since we’ve had scenes together, really.” The actress added: “It’s gonna be a ride.” View the full exchange below:

* Over the weekend, eight stars from The Young and the Restless — Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers), Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair), Mark Grossman (Adam Newman), Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra), Sean Dominic (Nate Hastings), Bryton James (Devon Hamilton), and Melissa Claire Egan) — got into the spirit of the season by raiding a local Big Lots, practically clearing the toy aisle, and donating their purchases to children in need.
