This week’s The Young and the Restless recap for the week of May 13th featured Victor setting out to ruin two men, Ashley saying goodbye, Billy making another move, and so much more!
The Young and the Restless Recap
Monday, June 10th
The calm after the storm in Paris hit Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Traci (Beth Maitland), and Alan (Christopher Cousins) hard. Ashley took off to apologize to Tucker (Trevor St. John) and say farewell before checking into treatment. Traci hung back with Alan and helped him work through his feelings and emotions.
Ashley wasn’t the only woman to visit Tucker. Audra (Zuleyka Silver) did too, just as Ashley was heading out. She got in a huff seeing Ashley which caused another rift between her and Tucker.
Back in Genoa City, Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Cole (J. Eddie Peck) had a serious talk with Victor (Eric Braeden) and practically begged for his forgiveness. He was willing to forgive…under two conditions. He wanted Michael to rekindle his friendship with Diane (Susan Walter) and for Cole to become buddy-buddy with Kyle (Michael Mealor). It didn’t take a genius to figure out Victor’s next target was Jack (Peter Bergman).
Tuesday, June 11th
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) met Lauren (Tracey Bregman) for lunch and thanked her for all her support. She also announced Jack would no longer be her sponsor. Lauren wasn’t surprised after all that went down. As for the office, Lauren hinted she was ready to step away from Newman.
Over at Crimson Lights, Adam (Mark Grossman) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) acted like real brothers while they talked about Connor (Judah Mackey). Good news soon came their way when they got a text their deal went through. They couldn’t wait to impress Victor. Unfortunately, they were the ones in for a shock.
As for Victor, he wrapped up his shady conversation with Cole and Michael before turning his attention to his family. He summoned his children all to talk about the future of Newman Enterprises. Victor announced he’s decided Adam would be the head of Newman Media — taking Nikki’s place! Adam all but refused and went home to gripe to Sally (Courtney Hope) about it.
Nikki came home just after the chaos and was told of Victor’s plans. She saw it as a punishment, which Victor didn’t debunk. Later, she thought Victoria should be the one to take her place, not Adam, and proposed the idea. Speaking of Victoria, Cole asked her out on an official date.
Wednesday, June 12th
On this episode of The Young and the Restless, against Victor’s direct orders to stay away from Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Cole managed to finagle himself a date. He was on cloud nine the rest of the day. He even bragged to Claire (Hayley Erin) about the dinner plans.
Speaking of Victor, he and Nikki had it out and it wasn’t pretty. She was furious her hubby removed her from Newman Media and saw it as a punishment. Victor didn’t deny it. Afterward, Nikki ran to the Tack House to cry to Victoria. Later, Victoria agreed to take her mom’s spot. At the same time, Victor was persuading Adam to take the job.
Summer (Allison Lanier) played nice with Adam when she paid Sally a visit. The gals went over Sally’s designs and Summer was quite impressed. So much so, she even agreed to bring Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) on board. Summer’s day got worse when she got to the mansion and saw Harrison and Kyle (Michael Mealor) having fun with Claire.
Thursday, June 13th
Summer found herself feeling like an outsider after seeing Kyle and Harrison having so much fun with Kyle. After some whining to Chance (Conner Flyod) she decided it was time for some custody agreements. As for Kyle, he dismissed Claire for the night but ended up at her house when she forgot her wallet.
As for Claire, she was doing her best to ‘ship’ her parents together. She even arranged for a quiet table and a bottle of champagne. Her plans worked well. Cole and Victoria had a great time and ended the night with a few sizzling kisses.
Trying – and failing – to have a date night were Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). Poor Tessa had to work so Mariah went over to Claire’s to bond. She got there while Kyle was still hanging around and called it out. Kyle vamoosed pretty quickly.
Over in Paris, Audra agreed to give Tucker a few minutes to state his case. He vowed to do anything in his power to make it right. He even offered her the company! Too late, though. Audra was already on the road to snatching it up all on her own. Why take the gift when she can destroy him instead?
Friday, June 14th
The Young and the Restless ended the week with Billy (Jason Thompson) asking Lily (Christel Khalil) for drinks…so he could try and convince her to team up. He wanted to add Abbott to the company name, and Lily agreed, but knew Devon wouldn’t…unless they were honest and told him about Jill.
Over in Paris, Tucker tried once again to get Audra back. Once again, it didn’t work. She taunted him about Glissade and how she’d soon be the head of it all, thanks to her secret investor. That secret investor? Victor Newman!
Back in Genoa City, Diane was on edge with Jack, even though he was staying true to his promise. He distracted her with talks of Kyle and the issues between her and their son. It worked…until Nikki walked in. Nikki tried to apologize to Diane but it all went sideways when Diane lashed out.
As for Kyle, he was off having drinks with Victor. The Mustache pressed him for answers about his family…and the office. He asked if Kyle was ready for a change. He offered to bring him back to Newman! Later, he went home and had it out with his mother!
