The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, May 23, tease Nikki returns from rehab just in time for the drama to heat up!

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) nearly drank herself into the gutter, and almost took Jack (Peter Bergman) with her. Now, she’s sobered up, cleaned up, and ready to face the world again. This time, with confidence, positivity, and her sobriety firmly intact.
Of course, much of her inner peace rides on the belief that Jordan (Colleen Zenk) is most certainly dead. We have to wonder, what is going to happen when she finds out her husband is a lying liar who has kept the baddie in the basement for weeks?! If anything can drive someone back to the bottle it would be that whopping betrayal.
As for the basement baddie, Victor (Eric Braeden) discovers his captive’s escape plan. Well, well, well…what do we have here? Is Jordan (Colleen Zenk) upping the ante? Will she get an assist from Cole (J. Eddie Peck)? Fashion a key out of Brussel sprouts to unlock her cage? Whatever it is, Victor better hope he gets to her home prison in time…or else!
Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Traci (Beth Maitland) vow to go hard to save Ashley (Eileen Davidson) from herself. She’s clearly not going to seek help so they need to do that for her. Are they ready to force her hand and have her committed? Is that even the right answer to all this?
