The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, April 4, 2024, tease Nikki hitting rock bottom once again when the overwhelming stress tears her down. This is one episode you won’t want to miss.
Previously On Y&R: Tucker woke up in bed and snuck down to the club. While there he got an earful from Lily and a stern warning to stay away by Devon. None of that stopped him from setting up a romantic breakfast in the Jazz Club where he proposed. As for Lily and Devon, they disagreed about Billy’s role at Chancellor-Winters. Lily was pro-Billy and Devon was not. Nikki met Jack at Society for a coffee but ended up getting offered liquor – custody of a disguised Jordan. Traci got a shock when Ashley came home not remembering much. She knew she went to Tucker’s room and then ran off but afterward, all she knew was she woke up in a hotel room. She then made Traci promise not to tell anyone, especially Jack. Now, let’s talk about what’s coming up next.
Nikki Backslides
Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) has held strong since dropping the bottle and getting back to recovery. Sadly, it seems her time on the wagon is about to fall short. She gives into temptation when the opportunity becomes too much to resist.
Will this end in a complete backslide for Nikki? She knows what to do to keep up appearances and not ruin her life, but doing those things is getting harder and harder by the minute. The pressure, the nerves, and the absolute craziness of her life right now are simply too much.
Why Now?
Audra (Zuleyka Silver) has some serious questions for Tucker (Trevor St. John) when it comes to their future. First and foremost, why did he propose, and what is his true motive? Does he want to marry her or coddle her? Is this his way of locking her down and keeping her close?
It wasn’t too long ago Tucker took his vows with Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and promised her all those same things. Audra is ready to be a wife, but this all seems a little fast, no? And, the timing doesn’t exactly seem right. What is Tucker really up to with all this?
A Breaking Point
Lily (Christel Khalil) and Devon (Bryton James) face off once again over Billy (Jason Thompson). Devon is sick and tired of the fighting and having to battle Billy at every turn. He’s also weary of that whole name-change debacle. Enough is enough. Billy needs to go!
Lily isn’t about all that, though. Sure, she fired Daniel (Michael Graziadei) and Heather (Vail Bloom) for reconciling…but that’s different since they betrayed her. Devon can’t just get rid of Billy over hurt feelings. That wouldn’t be right. That wouldn’t be professional. Pot, meet kettle.
