Try as they might, Traci (Beth Maitland) — who can usually find a good word for anybody and everybody — and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) didn’t really care for Diane at the best of times and despite her repeated change of face. They especially didn’t like her when it appeared she was throwing Jack (Peter Bergman) over for an alliance with Victor (Eric Braeden) — and even learning the truth didn’t much change their opinion.
But here’s Diane, yet again, trying her damndest to make inroads with her sisters-in-law. She garners enough goodwill to receive an invitation to join the two for drinks — but then she goes on — and on and on — with a toast that leaves the pair rolling their eyes heavenward.

Meanwhile, look for Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) to stomp over to Sharon’s (Sharon Case) abode to deliver her version of holiday cheer — which the recipient will no doubt want to return with a quickness. (If only ‘bitch’ came with a gift receipt.
