This week’s Days of our Lives recap for the week of May 6th, featured Maggie getting a reality check, EJ keeping mum about his wife’s son, Xander working to clear his name, and so much more!
Monday, May 6
Stephanie (Abigail Klein) caught up with Everett (Blake Berris) at the pub and tried to warn him off posting the exposé on Paulina (Jackée Harry) but he published it anyway. Stephanie was upset but not so much she didn’t make pickleball plans with him. Later, Everett got the email finalizing his and Jada’s (Elia Cantu) divorce and was taken aback by Robert Stine’s signature. As for Jada, she and Rafe (Galen Gering) celebrated moving in and her being free of her ex.
Abe (James Reynolds) read the article and called Stephanie, who advised him to have Paulina (Jackée Harry) release a statement. Paulina nearly had a fit when she saw the article. She had bigger things to worry about, though, like her grandchild. Speaking of which, Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Johnny (Carson Boatman) ultimately agreed to move forward with the pregnancy no matter what.
Meanwhile, Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) told EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) everything and manipulated him into staying quiet by pointing out the truth would drive Nicole and Eric back to each other. So, he did. He went home to Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and didn’t breathe a word about her baby. Later, Sloan and Eric (Greg Vaughan) kissed, made up, and vowed to have no more secrets between them.
Tuesday, May 7
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer) visited Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) at the perfect moment. They got there just in time for Justin to call Maggie with the news Victor’s will cleared probate. She was excited to share her wealth and donate much of it to charity. A sentiment that had Konstantin (John Kapelos) in a panic and he accidentally showed his true colors.
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) got the call and celebrated by taking Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) to bed. He turned up at the DiMera mansion just in time to flirt and canoodle with Kristen in front of Brady (Eric Martsolf) which made his day even better. Later, Brady checked in with Theresa (Emily O’Brien) just moments before Konstantin showed up at her door. He claimed he needed help picking a wedding present but once Kon got Theresa alone, he urged her to fix things with Alex so they could steal his money.
Meanwhile, Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John (Drake Hogestyn) gave Steve (Stephen Nichols) the scoop on Konstantin activating The Pawn. Don’t worry, though, Marlena figured it out and deprogrammed her husband. And, as for Maggie’s prenup, it’s safe too. John saw it coming, swapped the documents, and Konstantin burned the fake.
Wednesday, May 8
Prom planning took center stage. Holly (Ashley Puzemis) held it together when Sofia (Madelyn Kientz) shared her interest in Tate (Leo Howard). Sofia even got her wish and Tate agreed to take her. But, that was only after hitting the poor girl in the face with a football. It’s a date. A double date! Holly is going to attend with Aaron (Louis Tomeo).
Meanwhile, Nicole overheard EJ screaming into his phone about DNA results. He covered and said it was for a case. She believed him and took off for her assignment with Eric. At the same time, Sloan invited over Melinda (Tina Huang) and told her that EJ is now in the know and assured her he’s on their team.
Later, Johnny (Carson Boatman) told EJ about Chanel’s (Raven Bowens) pregnancy and possible complications. EJ agreed to find them the best doctors but didn’t think they should have the child. There was too much risk and by the time they got results it could be too late to make a decision. Johnny shut that down, though.
Additionally, Ava (Tamara Braun) lied to Clyde (James Read) about finding the black book so she and Harris (Steve Burton) could inspect it. Shockingly, they found it was covered in blood.
Thursday, May 9
Xander gave Sarah an early Mother’s Day present before taking off to confront Stefan (Brandon Barash). The DiMera baddie swore he didn’t set Xander up but one little slip-up proved otherwise. Sarah was treated to a visit from Konstantin who tried to butter her up (just after getting turned down for a Greek honeymoon by Maggie). Sarah was kind but firm about not liking him much.
Meanwhile, Steve, Marlena, and John told Maggie everything and she realized Konstantin was plotting to kill her for her money. She agreed to take part in their revenge plot. They decked out Maggie in spy gear and sent her home to pretend everything was a-okay.
Additionally, Ava, Harris, and Stefan came up with a cover story of how Gil’s black book was found. Stefan was going to claim he uncovered it and gave it over to Harris. Good plan, right? Harris handed it off to Rafe and Jada. Later, he packed up to go on a mini-mission promising to be home in a few days.

It was Mother’s Day in Salem, but it wasn’t all sweetness and love, especially for Paulina. She was upset about Chanel and even a pep talk from Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) didn’t make it better, especially after Chanel canceled their plans. She claimed to be unwell and Paulina jumped into action to care for her. However, she got an earful when she landed at the mansion with soup and crackers. Chanel tore into her mom and blamed Paulina for possibly harming her unborn child.
Chad (Billy Flynn) took Thomas (Cary Christopher) to visit Abigail’s grave before meeting up with Julie at the pub. Thomas proudly presented Julie with a Mother’s Day gift which made her day. Chad made it a point to thank Julie for being there for him and the kids since Abby passed away.
Theresa was treated to dinner at the Bistro by Tate. They got there moments before Nicole, EJ, and Holly. Both moms blamed the teen for the setup. As if that didn’t cause enough tension, Nicole banned Holly from going to the prom which led to the teen exploding and storming off.
Meanwhile, Eric treated Sloan like a Queen for her first (fake) Mother’s Day. Breakfast, a necklace, and a family walk. How sweet! It just so happened they got to the square just in time to watch Nicole and Holly have it out. Eric stepped in to talk to Holly while Sloan chatted with Nicole. She even let her hold baby Jude. All the while, EJ took a call from Rolf. The paternity test was in and that baby is most certainly Eric’s child.
