This week’s Days of our Lives recap for the week of June 3rd featured Clyde dropping a bomb on Chad, the walls closing in on Melinda, Konstantin confessing to a shocking murder, and so much more!
Days of our Lives Recap
Monday, June 4th
Rafe (Galen Gering) showed up in Melinda’s (Tina Huang) office ready to throw the book at her. Not so fast, copper! Melinda blackmailed him. If he wanted the little black book that would free his sister, he best play nice, or else!
Leo (Greg Rikaart) confronted EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) who lied his face off once again. Leo wasn’t buying it, though. However, EJ wasn’t budging. Later, Leo stopped in at the pub for some grub and was unceremoniously booted from the eatery.
EJ stormed home and got right in the middle of the battle between Nicole (Arianne Zucker), Eric (Greg Vaughan), and Sloan (Jessica Serfaty). He got there just in time to stop Sloan from spilling the daddy secret. He hauled her outside and threatened her. Leave town or face the consequences!
Meanwhile, Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) and Stefan (Brandon Barash) met in the square to gameplan how to save Gabi. Kristen suggested he romance the D.A (again), but that was out of the question. Stefan’s days of cheating on his wife were over. OVER!
Tuesday, June 5th
Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) showed off her ring to Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) before turning her attention to her fiancé. She insisted they track down his mother and invite her to the wedding. Xander (Paul Telfer) tried to warn her off, but Sarah was determined, and so, Xander agreed. They just needed to find her first.
Over at the pub, Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Roman (Josh Taylor) worried about Lucas, especially after finding out he took off from the monastery. They hoped and prayed he’d stay safe. As for Lucas, he was safe-ish, at least for now. He and Ava had Goldman (Christy St. John) gagged in their room and a plan to take down Clyde (James Read).
Ava (Tamara Braun) donned Goldman’s jacket and hat and set out to the campground Goldman and Clyde were staying. And, of course, she found him. And, then, she pulled a gun on him!
Meanwhile, Harris (Steve Burton) urged Snake to come clean, which the dealer was NOT going to do. Harris took matters into his own hands by grabbing the guy’s phone and searching it. Once he saw the location history he was off to the campground, too! He got there just in time to stop Ava from committing murder.
After a conversation with Chad (Billy Flynn), Steve (Stephen Nichols) agreed to join the fight against Clyde. Only he didn’t get to go. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) forbade her husband and they argued for so long that Chad took flight without him.
Wednesday, June 6th
Ava nearly shot Clyde but Harris stopped her before she could pull the trigger. He put Clyde under arrest and sent Ava away. Unfortunately, for Clyde, Ava wasn’t the only enemy wielding a gun. Chad ran up on them, pointed a gun at him, and demanded to know why he killed Abigail. Well, Chad, he didn’t. Abigail is still alive!
Back in Salem, Rafe (Galen Gering) met with Stefan (Brandon Barash) to discuss how to deal with Gabi’s case. Rafe told him all about Melinda’s blackmail plans and how he was stuck. They had to help her to help Gabi. Or…take her down.
As for Melinda, she had a fiery confrontation with EJ. She’s his only current loose end and he wanted to ensure she kept those lips shut. She was more than happy to stay silent…for a price. Melinda knew she had the upper hand…and EJ did, too.
While EJ was cleaning up his mess, Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) spent time bonding over Jude. Eric was a mess over losing Jude and asked for a favor…could she keep his name? It meant a lot to him since he chose that name BECAUSE of Nicole.
Thursday, June 7th
Over in Montana, Clyde reiterated Abigail was very much alive. It was enough to stop Chad from shooting him, but not enough to set him free. Harris talked Chad into stepping away and then hauled Clyde off. Chad made his way back to the hotel where he sat with Lucas and tried to figure out if Clyde was lying. As for Ava, she ran over to be with Harris and was dismayed to learn he was still upset with her.
Back in Salem, Kristen bruised Alex’s (Robert Scott Wilson) ego but not only turning him down but made it clear she’s just not that into him. Sorry, lover-boy, the days in her bed are over. That’s okay, he still has Theresa, right? WRONG. Theresa and Brady were all over each other and by the time Alex got home, the pair were falling into bed.
Additionally, on Days of our Lives, Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) gave Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) a tour of the refinished Horton home (with a new couch!), then she laid into her about this upcoming wedding. Maggie assured her friend she had a plan but that wasn’t enough. Julie was worried. And, she was proven right when Konstantin busted in, took issue with Julie’s naysaying, and asked Maggie to marry him…tomorrow!
Friday, June 8th
It was wedding day for Maggie and Konstantin and, as expected, it wasn’t without serious drama. First, Maggie spent the with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Bonnie (Judi Evans) before heading over to check in with Steve and John (Drake Hogestyn). At the same time, John arrived from a secret meeting with the Kon where The Pawn card was drawn and he was handed a gun and told to shoot Maggie right after the ceremony. The joke’s on Kon, though. John isn’t programmed anymore.
The wedding brought up big feelings for a few couples. For Sarah, it got her thinking about her own. With Bonnie’s help, she finally called Xander’s mom and left a message inviting her the ceremony. Meanwhile, Theresa woke up to Brady in her bed. No regrets here. At least, not yet. Later, Alex arrived and got an eyeful. It prompted him to ask Theresa to be exclusive, which she agreed. There was no way she was turning down a chance to be a Kiriakis heiress.
The wedding began with Justin stood to officiate the wedding and it all went swimmingly. He got to the part where Konstantin was to say “I do,” before interrupting the ceremony to announce he got an alert a whole lot of money was stolen from the company. Uh-oh! Maggie blamed Konstantin who claimed he was being framed (he was).
Everything went off the rails when he realized everyone was against him. Konstantin ordered John to produce his weapon and shoot Steve and then himself. John laughed in his face. The laughter didn’t last long, though. Konstantin was spiraling and confessed he was the one who tampered with Victor’s plane and killed him!
