This week’s The Young and the Restless recap for the week of June 3rd featured Adam and Chelsea beside themselves after a failed trip to see Connor, Claire’s dishonestly hitting Summer the wrong way, Victor sticking it to Cole, and Ashley coming face-to-face with her real tormentor!
The Young and the Restless Recap
Monday, June 3rd
Sally (Courtney Hope) was ready for her fresh start, but she had to tie up a loose end first. She met with Nick (Joshua Morrow) to discuss their debt. Nick’s rich enough to not care about the cash, but Sally insisted on paying him back…one day.
Nick later went to the ranch to see his dad. He got caught up on the Jordan (Colleen Zenk) drama and he and Victor (Eric Braeden) discussed the rest of the family’s woes. As for Sally, she made up with Chloe (Elizabeth Lanier).
Over in Paris, Tucker (Trevor St. John) and Audra (Zuleyka Silver) worked behind each other’s backs. He canceled all her meetings and she made new ones. Later, things got heated when Tucker tracked her down and confronted her in an elevator.
Things weren’t much better for Ashley (Eileen Davidson). She was certain she was right about her memories with Alan (Christopher Cousins), but he had no idea what she was talking about. Poor Ashley became more confused than ever, especially when the trio went to the bar Ashley claims she met with Alan…and he had never been there before.
Tuesday, June 4th
Cole (J. Eddie Peck) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) anxiously awaited word from Claire (Hayley Erin) about her first day at work. Unfortunately, Cole wasn’t there when she got home. He was summoned to the main house where Victor (Eric Braeden) tore into him and kicked him out. As for the ladies, Claire came home and boasted about her day with the little boy.
Claire did cause a stir before leaving the Abbott mansion, though. Kyle (Michael Mealor) shared the news about Jordan with Summer (Allison Lanier) who turned on Claire for not telling them herself – this morning! How dare she! Summer went to blow off steam with Chance (Conner Floyd) while Kyle went to Society to open up to Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks). Much to his surprise, the gals were firmly on Summer’s side.
In Paris, Ashley (Eileen Davidson) got a shock when Alan (Christopher Cousins) dropped a bomb. No, it wasn’t him who was with her that night — it was his evil twin brother! Oh yes, he has a twin named Martin who is a psychopath (literally). They wondered if he was following Ashley to get to Alan!
Wednesday, June 5th
On this episode of The Young and the Restless Devon and Nate met with Mamie for a meal and tried to push her to give up her stake in the family business. Why not get out of the rat race and take a step back? Point blank, she may not want to, she may have to if they have any say!
Billy kept true to his word to keep Jill’s secret for all of a hot minute. By the end of the day he spilled everything to Lily (Christel Khalil) and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). He even tried to use the intel to urge Lily to add the Abbott name to Chancellor-Winters…in Jill’s honor, of course.
Speaking of Chelsea, she and Adam didn’t make it to see Connor (Judah Mackey). As the story goes, Connor had a violent crisis where he punched himself in the face and refused to see his parents. Chelsea cried to Billy and Adam (Mark Grossman) leaned on Sally (Courtney Hope) for support.
Thursday, June 6th
It was a long night in Paris as Ashley, Alan, and Traci (Beth Maitland) fought off sleep to fight off Ashley’s demons. Alan put her under hypnosis and she finally began to remember. She recalled drinking wine in the bar and calling Alan to share it. Only, it wasn’t Alan who showed up, it was Martin posing as Alan and he invited her back to the apartment to check out some art.
A trip to Alan’s place was the next order of business. Before leaving, Ashley took a call from Tucker and they realized it wasn’t Alan he saw on the street. Ashley outright told Tucker to stay out of her life. At the apartment, the pieces began coming together for Ashley. Yes, Ashely remembered being there, she even pointed to the piece Martin showed her. The next order of business was figuring out what else went down.
Alan hypnotized her again and she remembered talking to Martin about Tucker. He wanted to role-play the argument but she didn’t want to. Before she could remember more, though, she had a battle with her alters and Alan helped her shut them down. Then, she and Alan sat on the couch as she recalled the rest. Martin came onto her! Â Ashley realized Martin was the violent one and she mixed her memories between Tucker and Martin.
Uh-oh, there was a huge twist. A massive one. Ashley wasn’t talking to Alan at all. The whole entire time, it was Martin sitting beside her! Ashely tried to run but he grabbed her!
Meanwhile, The Young and the Restless showed Tucker couldn’t help but replay his conversation with Ashley in his head. He was confused about why she thought he didn’t see Alan that day. He grabbed his coat and ran out the door.
Friday, June 7th
The scene in Paris went off the rails as Martin tried to take control of Ashley. He threatened her to stay quiet while he hid her upstairs. Down the hall, he had Alan bound and gagged in a closet. There was just one small issue…Traci. Oh, and Tucker, too!
Tucker nearly refused to leave until Traci told him what was up. Why didn’t Alan talk to him the other day on the street? What as Ashley talking about on the phone? Traci refused to spill but all was answered when Ashley screamed out for help. The pair ran up the stairs to find Martin attacking Ashley!
Ashley managed to break free of his grip nearly the exact second Alan freed himself from the closet. He jumped into action fighting his brother and the two grappled all the way on — and over — the balcony. Thankfully, Alan (or are you Alan) survived.
In the aftermath, wrapped up the week with  Alan imploring Ashley to check into a clinic for more help. It was clear she was still hiding something huge from herself (namely, what all Martin did to her), and he even recommended a clinic he used to work at. Ashley was reluctant but after a call from Jack, she finally agreed.
