Thomas is coming home and it’s not a moment too soon. The Bold and the Beautiful is exploding with drama and Thomas is definitely needed back on the canvas.
The Bold and the Beautiful Brings Thomas Home
A heartbroken Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) snatched up his son and packed his bags for Europe after Hope (Annika Noelle) turned down her proposal. Since then, he’s stayed mostly quiet and disconnected which left many wondering if and when they would see Thomas again. It looks like his vacation is over and he’s ready for the grind of Los Angeles life once again!
Fans can expect to see Thomas back in action on Friday, June 21st! And, oh, what a return it will be! Matthew Atkinson touched base with Soap Opera Digest to talk about what Thomas can expect when his plane lands State-side.
When Thomas left, Hope wasn’t ready to take their love story to the next level. And, since he’s been gone, she’s obsessing over his sister’s husband. when asked how Thomas will react, Atkinson wasn’t too sure. “From Thomas’s point of view, he knows nothing about it, and so maybe that helps my point of view,” he laughs. “I’ll just say I know nothing about it. But yeah, there have definitely been some interesting changes [while] Thomas was out of town.”
He may have bigger things to worry about, though. What could that be? Matthew Atkinson couldn’t help but tease what’s in store for his character. “Thomas has had one particular very large change in his life since he left town and when he comes back, it is something that shocks everyone.” How ominous! How delicious! We love a good secret and can’t wait to see what unfolds when Thomas arrives at the office.
To his Bold and the Beautiful fans, Atkinson had a special message to thank them for loving him and his soapy alter-ego. He discussed how many people reached out during his time off-screen and what that meant to him. “That means a lot to me because I would have fun doing this in a vacuum, but it’s really great to have a response that shows that these people care about what you’re doing. And so it’s just been so much love from so many fans that comes out in so many different ways.”
