Annika Noelle’s Take On ‘Harter’

In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest, Noelle chatted about Hope’s hot lip locks with Lawrence Saint-Victor’s Carter. “I was just excited that we finally get a chance to kind of play in the sandbox together,” she shares. “I’m really excited to get to work with him in a more layered setting than just, you know, filing divorce papers.” We agree! It’s nice to see Carter being the lover and not the one standing on the sidelines marrying and un-marrying the L.A. elite.

Has Hope finally found her perfect match? Noelle seems to hint she can see a future for her character and Forrester’s COO. “I feel like they bring out the best in one another, whereas Hope’s other pairings didn’t always brought out the best in her. Some of those other relationships brought out her jealousy and insecurity and all sorts of things like that.”

Boldly Leaving The Past Behind

Does kissing Carter mean Hope is over her obsession with Finn (Tanner Novlan)? You bet! “I hope that is laid dead and buried,” says Noelle. “I think it was just very misguided. You know, she was lost after Thomas left and I think she was just searching for anything to cling onto…. It was very inappropriate and something that was pretty out of character for her.”

While Hope may be ready to move on from her past fellas and obsessions, we have to wonder if Carter is holding a torch for a former flame. Quinn (Rena Sofer), especially, has come up a few times recently. Will she become a factor? We’ll have to wait and see!
