Award Winning Scribe Michele Val Jean Is Bidding The Bold and the Beautiful Adieu — And Fans Know EXACTLY Where She Should Land

Uber-talented wordsmith Michele Val Jean has confirmed her exit from The Bold and the Beautiful — and if her fans have their way, she’ll soon be back at some old stomping grounds.

Matt Hanvey, King Skewer of Soap Opera (check out his hilarious “teaks” of past Y&R and B&B episodes here), took to X (formerly Twitter) upon seeing news that Jean was out at B&B.

He wrote, “I just read on IG that @MicheleValJean is leaving #BoldandBeautiful It seems like yesterday when you came on board, but that was so long ago now. Thanks for all the years of scripts! Can’t wait to see what you do next!”

Almost immediately the thread was peppered with responses expressing a fervent hope that Val Jean was on her way back to General Hospital where she steered fortunes and misfortunes, in various capacities, between 1993 and 2012.

Puma914 penned, “I know you will be missed there but boy, if we could be lucky enough to have you back at #GH…” while Missy B enthused, “Not going to lie…my heart just skipped a beat! Praying for a GH return. We need and want you back!”

Val Jean joined the B&B writers’ room soon after her exit from GH. During her tenure there, she shared in the winning of three Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Writing Team (2015, 2016, and 2020) — perfect compliments for the four Daytime Emmys and four Writers Guild of America Awards accepted for her work on GH.
