The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for for December 15, 2023, promise a nail-biting and heartbreaking day for Eric Forrester’s loved ones.
The Race To Save Eric
Now that Eric (John McCook) seems to be opening his eyes and showing signs of life, Finn (Tanner Novlan) and Bridget (Ashley Jones) finally have the go-ahead from Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) to perform the procedure that could keep him alive. Ridge still doesn’t know if makes the right decision, but how could he allow Eric to die when his father seemed to be telling him not to?
As Bridget and Finn enter the operating room, they are not sure if this new experimental treatment will work, but they are ready to give it a go. However, we also have to wonder why Eric’s grandson-in-law and daughter are operating on him. Isn’t that a severe conflict of interest? Can they even hold back their emotions? Well, they are going to have to try.
As the procedure goes on, things don’t go quite as planned and something goes wrong when Eric is on the table. Finn and Bridge rush to do what they have to because Bridget is not about to let her father die in her care, but she is not God. She is just a doctor and may have to accept that it’s her dad’s time.
Ridge Is A Hot Mess
When Ridge hears bad news about the procedure, he starts to doubt everything. He was all ready to turn off the machines keeping Eric alive when his eyes fluttered. That changed everything as his family begged him to give Eric a fighting chance.
Now, Ridge wonders if he did the right thing. He has Eric’s medical power of attorney and it was his job to make sure that Eric did not needlessly suffer. Now, he may suffer anyway just because Steffy’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) husband did some research and Ridge chose to allow Eric to undergo a procedure that could make his condition worse than ever.
Will the Forresters and Logans get their Christmas miracle? Will Donna’s (Jennifer Gareis) Honeybear survive the biggest test of his long life?
