They say time heals all wounds, but it’s been over a year and Days of our Lives’ Chad DiMera still misses his wife with every breath. He tried to move on, he tried to find love again, but it’s clear Abby will always have his heart.
One True Love
Last week, Chad (Billy Flynn) had a meltdown to Johnny (Carson Boatman) about the curse of being a DiMera in love. Johnny’s ready to propose to Chanel (Raven Bowens) and Chad did all he could to talk him out of it. Do the DiMera’s really have bad luck? Maybe. But this was more about Chad yearning for the wife he tragically lost.
That isn’t the first time Chad has brought up Abby in the recent past. In fact, he mentions her quite often these days. While it’s not surprising he can’t let her go, we have to wonder why all this constant chatter. Could it be this is paving the way for Abby to come back from the dead?
Weird Science
Sure, Abby was stabbed and pronounced DEAD dead, but she wouldn’t be the first Salemite to beat a forever nap. With Rolf out there, anything is possible. Did the mad scientist whisk her away and do what he does best? Could he have her in his lair just waiting for the right day to bring her back to the land of the living?
This theory begs many questions, including what condition Abby will be in if she does come home. She’s battled many struggles with her mental health and if she’s not in a good frame of mind, this may not be a happy reunion for Chad…or the children.
Abby can be dangerous when she’s out of control. She schemes, she scams, and she puts the people around her on high alert. If this dark side emerges, everyone in town had better watch out!
