It’s been a hot minute since Allie graced Days of our Lives with her presence. She ran off in the dead of the night after bedding Alex and ruining her love story with Chanel. While some took that as her tucking her tail between her legs and being cowardly, others surmise there’s more to that story than meets the eye. We tend to side with the latter…and we think we know why she disappeared.
Oh, The Secrets We Keep…
What if Allie (Lindsay Arnold) found out she was pregnant and chose to duck and hide instead of co-parenting with Alex (Robert Scott Wilson)? He’s a good guy and all but he definitely was not daddy material, at least not at that time. She already had to parent Henry on her own, maybe she thought it was best she did the same with Alex’s baby too.
Of course, a secret like that can’t stay that way forever. She’ll eventually have to come home — whether it’s to see her brother and his new wife (who happens to also be her ex), or see her dad, or even because of the Horton house fire. Whatever it is, something will pull her back, and she’ll have to bring her children along.
Alex, You ARE The Father
Imagine everyone’s surprise if she shows up with a surprise baby in tow. And, imagine the chaos when Alex does the math and realizes he could very well be the child’s father! It’ll be quite a shock, for sure!
Oh, of course, Allie will try to deny it. She’ll lie straight to his face and assure him he’s still a child-free man. But, Alex won’t let it go until he knows for sure. One little DNA test later and the truth will come out and lives will change forever!
