The Days of our Lives episode aired on Monday, July 29, 2024, served as Arianne Zucker and Greg Vaughan’s swan songs.
Arianne Zucker Honors All The DAYS of our Her Life
To honor the occasion, Zucker took to her Instagram with a video chock-full of images and clips encompassing her career at the NBC sudser.
Alongside the footage, Zucker wrote: “I loved my job. I loved my friends. I loved my co-workers, but most of all I love all of you. When someone says you are irreplaceable…maybe, but the heart of an individual is not. I gave all my heart and always will.
“I could never have had this job unless I had all of you. From the bottom of my heart and beyond, I can’t thank you enough for loving to hate Nicole and for loving her again as she changed in life with all of you. Thank you for being a part of my journey. This is an adventure that will live with me forever. Thank you for standing up for what is right.
“Thank you for standing by me. Thank you for acknowledging what this industry so easily takes advantage of. I will forever stand for you. I love you!”

Her fiancée, and former costar, Shawn Christian (ex-Daniel Jonas) commented on the post:
“I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!! You have carried yourself with GRACE & DIGNITY in what is a painful and perplexing process. Your CARE and COMPASSION are reflected in your daily ACTIONS, DEDICATION and DETERMINATION to do what is just and right for women, men, animals and humanity. This ever-evolving adventure called LIFE reveals the TRUE CHARACTER of the world within us and the world around us. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! LET’S KEEP LIVIN’ TALOHA BABY!!”
Zucker’s exit from DAYS was officially confirmed in February of this year, as was the lawsuit she filed against Corday Production Inc., executive producer, Ken Corday, and former executive producer Albert Alarr over allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, negligent hiring, and supervision, and wrongful termination among other claims.
During an appearance on Rachel Uchitel’s Miss Understood podcast, Zucker expressed some disdain for the expediency of her alter-ego’s exit. She said: “In that regard, I think they did a lot of disservice to the two characters that people have wanted together for a long time. And I think it did a disservice to the one that she was with at the time also.
“But that’s the investment, that’s the choice of the writer, and if the writer chooses — the head writer — if he chooses not to write that, you’re just not going to get that storyline. To a degree, it was fine. It was fine. So, the fans can look forward to that.”
