Steve and Kayla are one of the most loved couples in all of daytime history and it looks like this fictional closeness extends beyond the Days of our Lives stage. Mary Beth Evans and Stephen Nichols checked in with fans online to talk about their lives, each other, and reveal who’ll they’ll have on their arms for the Daytime Emmy red carpet.

The pair took to Instagram to chit chat about what’s going on in their lives…on and off the set. This was the first time the two have seen each other for just over two weeks and they were happy to be together again. And, they revealed their dates for the awards ceremony will be…each other!
On top of that they talked about their plans just after the Daytime Emmys, which includes Evans hitting up the Broadway show Funny Girl with her sister. She also made a few quips about fashionable dresses for mature women (namely, please have sleeves!).
