On top of that already amazing news, the network also announced that on December 2nd, the show will air its 15,000th episode. We can’t wait to see what they plan for that huge event! It’s not every day a program sees this kind of longevity or success.

To honor the show’s legacy, DAYS will be celebrating with fans this weekend at the Day of DAYS event which takes place at the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live in downtown Los Angeles. Doors open at 10 AM. This is a free event and everyone is welcome!

During its six-decade run, the Corday Productions & Sony Pictures Television sudser has garnered 392 Daytime Emmy nominations as well as countless People’s Choice Awards, Prism Awards, and GLAAD Media Awards. They prove again and again how they’ve kept their fandom entertained!

While there were some doubts when the show switched to an online format, the success of Days of our Lives has proven to stand the test of time and the test of the internet.
