Former Days of our Lives star Kristian Alfonso (ex-Hope Brady) took to Instagram over the weekend to warn her fans about an imposter account on the same platform.

In addition to a caption that reads, “This is not me it’s a complete scam. Please Do Not engage with this person who post the fake account,” Alfonso posted a short video featuring clipped-together screengrabs of the scam account.
It seems the criminal was attempting to lure fans of the DAYS performer into giving personal details with a song and dance about a briefcase containing “huge amounts of money and some valuable documents.”

This comes one month after a Massachusetts based housewife was arrested for allegedly feeding her husband poisoned soup on the suggestion of someone posing as Bold and the Beautiful star Thorsten Kaye — and incident that prompted Daily Drama Podcast hosts Bradford Anderson and Steve Burton to film a special episode about social media scammers. B&B’s Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer) also got in on the action, releasing his own video on how to spot a celebrity impersonator on social media platforms.
