Dynamic mother-daughter duo Stacy Haiduk (Kristen DiMera, Days of our Lives) and Sophia Tatum (who guest-starred on the Peacock sudser back in 2020) are buckling up for a terrifying thrill ride that’ll premiere at LA’s Screamfest this October.

Based on the acclaimed short of the same name, Brand New Cadillac, helmed by Haiduk herself, is described as a journey through a “mother-daughter relationship with life and death stakes set in the world of vampires.”
In an interview with Fangoria, Haiduk offered up: “This is an exciting time for women in film, and we wanted to really capture a story that focused on this. Getting to work with my daughter and vice versa is something very dear to our hearts. We are excited to bring this unique story to audiences everywhere.”
Added Tatum: “The essence of the story is that it’s basically a journey about a mother and daughter brought together by necessity and working through their disagreements and years of tension to finally fall back in love with one another. They ultimately realize that the distance they’ve kept from one another has actually prevented them from being their better selves.”
