Susan Seaforth Hayes is a mainstay on Days of our Lives. She and her late husband are the cornerstones of the Williams family, even when the characters Julie and Doug aren’t on every single day. Since the passing of Bill Hayes, she hasn’t been on as often as she used to. That may change, though. It looks like Susan is back on contract with the sudser.

Some fans may be surprised to learn this is the first time Hayes has taken a contract with the show since January 1993. Shortly after, she took on guest spots on the soap and then turned recurring from 1999 until now. While DAYS has not confirmed the new contract, eagle-eyed fans noticed Hayes began appearing in the credits on October 4th.

Also shown in the credits recently is Madelyn Kientz who plays Sophia. It seems like the teen is staying around for a while, which could spell bad news for her bestie-turned-rival Holly (Ashley Puzemis). We can’t wait to see what other drama is coming up for the teen scene!
