Today’s Days of Our Lives recap for October 23, 2023, details Theresa’s big secret about Victor’s will and Sloan doing her best to hide Nicole’s baby’s paternity again.
Theresa Has A Big Secret
While Theresa (Emily O’Brien) packed to move in with Alex, she was surprised to see Konstantin at her hotel room door. He asked her if she was still trying to snag Victor’s long-lost son. Theresa then flashed back to her Greek meeting with Konstantin in which they first learned that Victor left him nothing in his will.
More flashbacks showed us that it was Konstantin’s father who gave Victor his start in life. Konstantin even convinced him to write a new will, which outraged him even more considering he was left out of it. Yet another flashback told us that Xander was really Victor’s son and not Alex.
Theresa was outraged to learn Xander would get half of everything, considering how much she hated him. Konstantin was also furious at Xander for robbing his father blind years ago. So, they both made the decision to forge the letter to make it look like Alex was Victor’s son instead.
Alex Won’t Give Up Titan
Brady (Eric Martsolf) stopped by to see Maggie and learned all about her recent time with Konstantin (John Kapelos). He found it odd that one of Victor’s old friends from Greece was now in town but Maggie was thrilled to have him there so they could share memories of Victor.
As Maggie told Brady all the stories from Konstantin that made Victor unrecognizable, he realized how strange it was that Victor kept the secret that Alex was his son. Like everyone else, Brady wasn’t happy that Alex took over Titan without regard for anyone else.
Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) was surprised when Xander (Paul Telfer) showed up at his door. Xander immediately demanded that Alex resign his new CEO position at Titan and give Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) back her job but Alex balked at such an idea. He was Victor’s (John Aniston) son and Titan was his legacy.
Xander reminded him that Victor didn’t name Alex as CEO in his original will. It made no sense to Xander that Victor would destroy his old will and create a new one before his death giving Alex half of everything.
Sloan’s Sneaky New Move
Eric (Greg Vuaghan) believed Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) when she told him that their adoption plans were going smoothly. When she asked him how his visit went at the hospital, he mentioned he saw Nicole (Arianne Zucker). This alarmed Sloan, but she was even further alarmed when she learned that Nicole had yet another copy of her baby’s genetic workup. That meant she had another document to switch to make it look as if EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) was the father of Nicole’s bundle of joy.
Eric wondered why Sloan was so alarmed when he told her about the genetic report but she quickly covered for herself and ran out of her apartment to solve her latest problem. Marlena (Deidre Hall) soon stopped by and told Eric she’d like to get to know Sloan.
Over at the DiMera mansion, Nicole made sure that EJ didn’t use her new genetic report as scrap paper. She lost the last hard copy and didn’t want this one ruined. EJ agreed to keep it in his wall safe. After Nicole left the room, EJ held the envelope in his hands and Sloan appeared at the back door to watch him.
Sloan created a distraction by ringing the doorbell and running to the back to sneak in while EJ went to the door. She switched the test results as she always does and Nicole and EJ were none the wiser.
