Today’s Days of Our Lives recap for November 10, 2023, has Leo and Dimitri escaping, Nicole’s bad luck driving, and Eric and Sloan’s bad luck with babies.
Newlywed Ups And Downs
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) got a big surprise when she picked up some takeout clam chowder. Roman (Josh Taylor) informed her that Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) and Eric (Greg Vaughan) got married the day before just like she did. Roman thought she already knew. She wondered why Eric didn’t mention this to her when they ran into each other before the wedding. This stunned Nicole even more and she knew she prompted this impromptu wedding.
Sloan and Eric enjoyed their first full day as husband and wife before Melinda (Tina Huang) arrived with good news. She found them a baby to adopt and even had a gender reveal gift bag full of blue. They were having a boy and couldn’t be more thrilled.
Eric was so excited that all he could think of was baby-proofing the apartment and setting up a nursery. When Eric left to do some shopping, Melinda had some more news. The baby was promised to someone else so Melinda needed to pay off the other family’s lawyer and needed money from Sloan.
Sloan wasn’t happy with the idea but Melinda convinced her to go along with it. If she didn’t take this chance now, there might not be another one for a very long time. When Melinda made the call to give the lawyer the go-ahead, she learned the baby was no longer available.
Nicole and Eric soon ran into one another outside the Pub where Nicole learned about the baby. Eric also admitted that he did indeed marry Sloan as a reaction to her marrying EJ (Daniel Feurriegel). They agreed they would always have feelings for one another but it was time to move on.
Leo And Dimitri Get Away — And Crash
Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Dimitri (Peter Porte) were shocked to see Jada (Elia Cantu) when they opened their motel room door. She was there to arrest them but they weren’t about to let that happen. Jada might have been holding them at gunpoint but that didn’t stop Leo and Dimitri from arguing with them.
When Jada had Leo cuff Dimitri himself, Leo lunged at Jada and got a hold of her gun. Leo somehow convinced Dimitri not to kill Jada. Instead, he clocked her over the head and ran. As they raced to Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) meeting place, they crashed right into Nicole, who was talking to EJ hands-free on the phone when it happened.
Stephanie Sets Her Boundaries
Stephanie (Abigail Klein) opened her door to find Everett (Blake Berris)standing there bearing a pumpkin spice latte. He just wanted to chat. The Spectator was in trouble and he wondered if he bit off more than he could chew by taking this job.
Stephanie explained the history of The Spectator, alarming Everett when he learned that his new boss Xander was a known criminal. He wanted Stephanie to use her PR skills to help him fix the paper. The two got along as well as they did in the past and enjoyed one another’s company, but Everett said he understood that she was with someone else now.
In Horton Square, Chad (Billy Flynn) told EJ all about Everett’s arrival and wondered if this ex-boyfriend would interfere with his romance — especially when Chad and Stephanie already have problems. EJ suggested that his brother buy The Spectator from Xander and take back some control. After all, Xander (Paul Telfer) could use the cash.
When Chad arrived home, he saw Stephanie and Everett hard at work and seriously considered EJ’s suggestion.
