Days of Our Lives spoilers for January 8, 2024, promise a confrontational and surprising day in Salem as the fallout from Holly’s drug experience continues.
Ava And Stefan Defend — And Lie
Chad (Billy Flynn) is sure that both Ava (Tamara Braun) and Stefan (Brandon Barash) have something to do with the new Salem drug crisis and are more convinced than ever after some information from Everett (Blake Berris). To that end, Chad confronts his brother and Ava at the DiMera mansion.
As expected, they deny everything, but Ava takes things a step further by planting a kiss on Stefan. That way Chad will think their secret is that they’re having an affair. Chad doesn’t really buy it but he leaves determined to get to the truth.
Stephanie And Everett Grow Closer
In his quest to expose the Salem drug ring and write a complete investigative report, Everett enlists Stephanie (Abigail Klein) to help him with his story and she is more than happy to oblige. After all, they work well together and shared a kiss on New Year’s Eve.
This leads to more bonding moments between Stephanie and Everett, but will it lead to a romp in the sack? There are still many things that Stephanie doesn’t know about her ghosting ex. Maybe she needs to talk to her friend Jada (Elia Cantu).
Salem Odds And Ends
Wendy (Victoria Grace) may have walked out the door to head to China on Friday, but she’s still in Salem on Monday, shocking Tripp (Lucas Adams). Does she decide she can’t leave him and China isn’t in the cards for her right now since Tripp can’t join her? That would certainly make Tripp a very happy man.
Finally, Paulina (Jackee Harry) and Abe (James Reynolds) spend more time together growing closer. However, Paulina is not feeling well again and her condition seems to be getting worse. Too bad Paulina won’t admit what is going on as she hides this all from Abe. Will he figure it out and insist she see a doctor right away? Perhaps he needs to call Chanel (Raven Bowens) to talk some sense into her mother.
