Though he should be used to his pops stepping in and cleaning up his messes, Johnny (Carson Boatman) is still taken aback when he learns that EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) offered Joy (AlexAnn Hopkins) a substantial bribe to up sticks. So taken aback that he makes a beeline for the DiMera manse to tell EJ off.
How dare he involve himself! Sure, Johnny confided his *ahem* dalliance with Joy in his dad, but that wasn’t an invitation for EJ to do what he did. What if the offer doesn’t have the desired effect and an offended Joy blabs their secret? Worst still, what if she takes the money and then blabs?
Luckily for Johnny, it looks like Joy is poised to take Mr. DiMera up on said offer. After all, spoilers have her bidding Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) farewell. Then again, maybe she’s merely taking all that lovely cash and moving into fancier digs elsewhere in Salem…

And Paulina’s gotta pour all the love and affection she can into her firstborn before she and Eli (Lamon Archey) pack up and return to D.C.
