Days of our Lives Spoilers: Eric Shares Life-Altering News With His Mother

Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, June 28th, 2024, tease Marlena gets a lovely visit from her son…except what he says isn’t as lovely as she’d like.

It’s hard to believe that a mere month ago, Eric (Greg Vaughan) was living in bliss. He has a wife, was raising his son, and just got a great new job. Oh, yes, life was grand…until it all fell apart. And now, he’s starting to wonder what’s left for him in Salem. He has no more wife, no more baby (except he does, he just doesn’t know it), and his job at the paper isn’t exactly his dream.

He shows up to see his mom and talk to her about his plans. Plans that don’t include wallowing away in this strange town. It’s time for Eric to heal his heart and soul, and he can’t see that happening in Salem. Sadly, he’s planning on packing up and heading out…and the news breaks Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) heart.

Also heartbroken is Paulina (Jackée Harry). The loss of her grandchild hits her hard, especially since Chanel (Raven Bowens) put the blame on her. The guilt is overwhelming and all-encompassing. Poor Paulina may never forgive herself. She leans on Abe (James Reynolds) who is right there, consoling her and making sure his wife feels his love.

All the while, Days of our Lives has EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) running to Rafe (Galen Gering) for help. He’s having a rough time with Melinda (Tina Huang) and needs Rafe to help smooth things over. They’ll never get Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) out of prison without Melinda’s help. And, EJ HAS TO get his sister-in-law free, or else!

Speaking of freeing Gabi, Stefan (Brandon Barash) is all about finally bringing his wife home. He promises Gabi the day is coming. He’ll move heaven and earth to clear her name and put an end to this endless madness. Gabi deserves the world and he’s going to make darn sure she gets back to her glorious life.
