Days of Our Lives spoilers for January 22, 2024, promise a surprising day for Alex as Steve and Clyde are separately forced to go on the defense.
Alex Gets An Eyeful
After Theresa’s (Emily O’Brien) fall off the wagon and night on what Jada (Elia Cantu) believed was ecstasy, she lost all her inhibitions, especially with Brady (Eric Martsolf) taking care of her. When Theresa plants a kiss on Brady, he is quite surprised but not as surprised as Alex, who walks in on the scene.
Brady tries hard not to respond to Theresa’s kisses, but Alex can tell they both enjoyed it and has to decide whether to let it go or allow it to get in the way of his and Theresa’s romance. She was on drugs after all, and might not have been thinking straight.
Two Men In the Hot Seat
Clyde Weston (James Read) is both surprised and not surprised when Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) pays him a visit in Statesville. He knows the cop has been poking around The Bistro but believed that he wouldn’t put two and two together about the ring leader.
Now Clyde has to think fast when Harris starts asking questions. Will Harris also find himself in more danger since Harris clearly has a dirty cop working for him?
A jailbird villain has a confrontation, but so does our hero Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols). Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) still naively thinks that Konstantin (John Kapelos) is being truthful with her so she helps Konstantin confront Steve about his constant suspicions and accusations.
Eric Has An Explanation
After a disastrous dinner party, Marlena (Deidre Hall) now has more reservations than ever about Eric’s (Greg Vaughan) marriage to Sloan (Jessica Serfaty). Does she drink like that often or was that a one-time thing?
Eric apologizes for his wife’s behavior and insists Sloan’s little drunk escapade was a fluke. She was just nervous in front of Marlena and wanted to make a good impression so she thought a few relaxing drinks would help.
Little does he know it’s more than just nerves eating away at Sloan. It’s intense guilt over stealing someone else’s child.
