Monday, August 5th
The week starts with Marlena (Deidre Hall) worrying about her dear husband. John (Drake Hogestyn) has been away for quite some time on his mission to fix his past and clear his head. Marlena was more than happy to help him pack up so he could take flight, but she didn’t realize he’d he gone for so long.
Now, she’s on a bit of a mission of her own. She’s desperate to get ahold of John and at least make sure he’s okay, but more than that, she wants him home. She’s held down the fort by herself for long enough.
Tuesday, August 6th
Oh, Connie, Connie, Connie, what are you up to now? The killer is on the loose and heating things up. She’s out for revenge and ready to take down her next target. But, why? Why is she going around Salem slashing up anyone who gets in her way? Well, friends, she’s doing all this in the name of love.
As it turns out, Connie (Julie Dove) wants to avenge Li’s death. But wait…isn’t she the one who stabbed him? What exactly is she trying to avenge? Connie is definitely crazy and kookie, but this is going way too far. She’s going off the deep end and there’s no coming back from this.
Wednesday, August 7th
Days of our Lives promises this is a big day for Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer). The lovebirds get a redo for their views and a wedding day of their very own. If you cry during weddings, make sure to grab those tissues. This touching and sweet ceremony is sure to hit everyone in the heart. And…hopefully, there aren’t any interruptions this time.
Interruptions like Bonnie (Judi Evans) and Hattie reuniting! Hattie is back in town and Bonnie couldn’t be more excited. Bonnie is somewhat of an outsider still so it’s nice to see Hattie’s friendly face. It should only be a matter of time before these two get into some fun shenanigans.
Thursday, August 8th
Chad (Billy Flynn) and Jack (Peter Bergman) rescue a familiar face this week, but soon, they also notice a woman eavesdropping on their conversation. Who could it be and what are they trying to overhear? This is a very curious and interesting twist considering all that’s going on.
Will this mystery woman be their beloved Abigail? If so, will this be the day she officially comes back into their lives? Chad has spent years pining away for his wife. To have her in his arms again would be a dream come true. And, it’d be pretty great for Jack to have his daughter back, too.
Friday, August 9th
As the week wraps up, Everett’s (Blake Berris) shocking death continues to rock Jada (Elia Cantu) and the guilt she feels over it is overwhelming. She turns to Paulina to talk through her intense emotions and find a way to cope with her loss…and her heart.
This is a tough time for poor Jada. Her current boyfriend was stabbed in cold blood, her other was killed, and she’s basically carrying the Salem police department on her back. If anyone could use a break from the drama, it’s her. She’s not going to get it, though. Not anytime soon, anyway.
