General Hospital is making room for yet another transplant from Pine Valley. Actress Eva LaRue, probably best known for her turn as AMC’s Dr. Maria Santos Grey, is joining the cast of the ABC soap later this month.
Eva LaRue Is Headed For Port Charles
Per TVLine, LaRue will portray Natalia Rogers-Ramirez, mother to Alison Rogers AKA Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez). Look for the actress to make her debut on February 26th.
Natalia’s arrival will no doubt precipitate a whole barrage of drama for her on-screen daughter who’s just entered into a romantic relationship with surrogate mother Kristina Davis (Kate Mansi). Blaze previously expressed reservations about fessing up to her sexuality in light of her family’s religious beliefs.
GH will prove a homecoming of sorts to LaRue, who’ll reunite with several former AMC co-stars, including Cameron Mathison (ex-Ryan Lavery) and Michael E. Knight (ex-Tad Martin).
