Beloved alum Emma Samms is the latest in a line of fan favorites set to check back into General Hospital.
Emma Samms Coming Back To GH
During her last reprisal, Samms’ Holly Sutton joined fellow Luke Spencer devotee Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) for some daring dos that ended with the rescue of Holly’s ne’er-do-well spawn, Ethan.
Per Variety, Samm’s latest visit will be tied to Jonathan Jackson’s recently announced, much-longed for return. Look for Holly come early September.
The actress debuted on the ABC sudser on July 2, 1982, when her alter-ego’s lithe, nude body caught the attention of the (presumed) Widower Spencer. Despite her and her kin running a con on him and the majority of Port Charlesites, Holly and Luke were paired romantically much to the viewing audience’s pleasure. Samms’ subsequent pairing opposite Tristan Rogers’ Robert Scorpio proved just as, if not more, compelling.
She remained a member of the cast until 1985 with an encore from 1992-1993 and guest appearances in 2006, 2009, 2012-13, 2015, 2020, 2022, and 2023.
