It’s been a hot minute since Johnny Zacchara stomped around Port Charles. He was once one of the deranged General Hospital mobsters around but hightailed it out of the city back in 2014 never to be seen or heard from again. We have a sneaking suspicion that may change soon, though!
Come Home Johnny Zacchara!
We can’t think of a better time for dear Johnny to resurface in the city. With Sam (Kelly Monaco) impending death and Lulu set to soon come back around, Johnny would definitely add to the drama. The last thing Dante needs right now is this man lurking about when he’s trying to sort of his and Lulu’s new way of life.

Let’s face it, without Sam, Dante is going to want his wife back. He was all set to walk down the aisle and give Sam his name, but the love of his life truly is Lulu. She’s going to open her eyes and Dante will melt. He’ll see that his only future is with her and he can’t live without Lulu.
General Hospital Love Games
That seems all well and good until Johnny comes back on the scene and starts battling it out for Lulu’s love…if for no other reason than to stick it to Dante and his family. We all know how Sonny (Maurice Benard) would react to him not only coming home but going up against his son. It could kick off another series of explosive mob wars!
Would Lulu even want Johnny? Sure, why not? She’s just waking up after years in a coma and it will take a little time to get her bearings. She may not even remember just how terrible Johnny was all those years ago. And, even if she does, who doesn’t love a bad boy? Lulu sure has a history of falling for the wrong men (cough, Valentin, cough).
