Alley Mills’ Heather is in quite the situation on General Hospital. She’s a killer, but not exactly a cold-blooded one (or so they claim). With the accusation of cobalt poisoning on the table, could it mean Heather will soon come home? The actress has the scoop on what’s coming next!
Alley Mills Talks Heather
Alley Mills checked in with Soap Opera Digest to share her thoughts on Heather’s current situation. Heather has the opportunity to sue a boatload of cold, hard cash. At first, she fluffed off the idea, but at Scott’s (Kin Shriner) prodding, the idea is on the table. “This is a really big deal and could bring a really big settlement,” Mills tells the publication. “Suddenly Scott comes and stirs the pot and her head is spinning!”
Unfortunately, gaining her freedom isn’t going to be easy, even with the money. Heather was riding on the hope that Laura (Genie Francis) would step in and save the day, but that seems to be a lost dream. “Laura is giving up the thought of Heather ever getting out of prison. So Heather realizes that she’s on her own.”
Even if Heather does come home, her life in Port Charles won’t be all sunshine and roses. Her enemies are out there hoping for her failure. One of which is Trina (Tabyana Ali). Their most recent showdown proved Trina isn’t going to let go of the bad blood. Not with Heather and certainly not with Heather’s daughter. “I think it gives Heather a sense of what a trial could be like, going up against the people that she’s hurt,” Mills explains.
Heather isn’t going to let people’s harsh opinions of her get her down, though. “If there’s any possibility that I can get out, I want to get out. I’ve got to give it everything I’ve got,” Alley Mills says of her character. She has an uphill battle to climb, but if anyone can do it, it’s Heather Webber!
