Longtime General Hospital fans were recently treated to a reunion between Finola Hughes and Ian Buchanan, better known as lovebirds Anna Devane and Duke Lavery.

Hughes was the first to share a selfie, though Buchanan quickly followed suit on his own Instagram page. (That dashing fellow sharing the shot with the two is Buchanan’s real-life partner, Antonio Hendricks.)
The snaps amassed a cavalcade of responses from costars — past and present — including Rebecca Budig (ex-Hayden Barnes, GH; ex-Greenlee Smythe, All My Children), Michael Easton (ex-Hamilton Finn, GH et al.), Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain, GH; ex-Ryan Lavery, All My Children), Kelly Monaco (Sam McCall, GH; ex-Livvie Lock Port Charles. Pssst did you see who the actress recently crossed paths with?), and Evan Hofer (Dex Heller, GH), and fans alike.
The general consensus? Duke was desperately needed back in Port Charles. And to those who scoff that the seductive Scott was shot dead and disposed of back in 2015, we can but point out that crazier things than resurrections have happened on GH. After all, it wouldn’t even be the first or the second time that Duke escaped the clutches of the Grim Reaper!
