General Hospital’s Jason and Anna took off overseas for a mission to bring Lucky home. Little did they know, this adventure would take so many twists and turns. The biggest one being Steve Burton’s Jason pulling Finola Hughes’s Anna in for one of daytime’s most sizzling hot kisses!
It’s Never Just A Kiss on General Hospital
Finola Hughes recently touched base with Soap Opera Digest to discuss Anna and Jason’s jaw-dropping scene. First and foremost, she was thrilled Anna was getting sent on her first caper in a while. And, to have Jason by Anna’s side? That was the icing on the cake! “Anna hadn’t been on a caper in quite some time. And I was so excited; Steve was the one who told me. We were in my room rehearsing something and he told me, ‘We’re gonna go try to rescue Lucky!.”
“I love working with Steve. He’s so great. He’s just a master at figuring out the beats in the scene. ” she went on to say. “I’ve enjoyed every moment of it so far.” Fans have enjoyed it, too. Seeing Jason and Anna take on the likes of Sidwell (Carlo Rota) have keep everyone glued to their screens. Lucky, they were because they could have miss this week’s biggest moment – the lip lock!

“I think it’s something that just happens,” Finola Hughes tells the publication. “It’s motivated by a lot of things, and we discussed it at length, Steve and me.” Who wouldn’t want a moment of comfort in the midst of a deadly situation. One last kiss before they die, some would say.
The Next GH Power Couple?
But, of course, are hero and heroine aren’t going to perish! So, what will come next? How will they deal with that heated moment and the newfound sparks between them? “I’m very interested to see how it’s going to play out!” Hughes teases.
