Giovanni Mazza is new to the General Hospital scene but already has fan’s full attention. The strapping young man has some hearts aflutter, especially over who his character, Gio, might romance on the show. And, after today, soapies are already rooting for a Gio and Trina pairing!
Giovanni Mazza Speaks Out
Trina (Tabyana Ali) just finally coming back around after losing Spencer after he plunged into the ocean with Esme. But, is she ready to find love again? And, if so, could Gio be the guy to help heal her heart? Judging from the heat between when they met at the pool, we’d say YES! As luck would have it, Giovanni Mazza recently sat down with Soap Opera Digest to talk about that very possibility.
“She [Trina] is interested in who Gio is and wants to know more about him, just as he wants to know about her, and I think we’ll develop a great connection on the show. I feel like there’s so much that could happen and could blossom out of our relationship, and I’m excited to know where the story goes. As a fan of the show, I also want to know what’s going to happen next!”
He went on to tell the publication that he and his new costar hit it off right away. “It is just so much fun. We just clicked as friends and as people. She’s [Tabyana Ali] such a cool person and so, so funny.”
A possible love story between Gio and Trina sounds intriguing, but what would happen if Spencer does return? Would she stay with Gio or run back into the arms of the man she loved so deeply? This could definitely add a new layer of drama for Trina!
