Ryan Chamberlain was long General Hospital‘s proverbial cat with nine lives — until he was dispatched once and for all in a hail of bullets on Spoon Island. Maybe. Appearances can be deceiving, and Jon Lindstrom knows more than most to never count his diabolical alter-ego out.
Jon Lindstrom Talks Chances Of Ryan’s Resurrection
“You know, I died 25 years ago, so I just don’t know,” the actor granted to Soaps.sheknows. “I mean, they kind of went out of their way to make sure [this time around] that we all saw him dead in the body bag. Kevin could see him, and Felicia could see him, and Mac could see him. We could all get our eyeballs on dead Ryan.
“Having said that, I don’t know how it could be done now, but if anything, daytime writers are an incredibly creative and resourceful bunch. So, if there’s a will, there will be a way. They will be able to figure that out. It won’t be up to me; I can tell you that.”
Would Lindstrom be open to reprising the role? “If [the writers] want to, I can tell you that I would jump in right away,” he confirms.
