This week’s General Hospital recap for the week of May 13th, featured a much-anticipated deeming, a vicious assault, a meticulous plan put into action, and so much more.
Monday, May 13
Michael (Chad Duell) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) ruminated on their past. Michael warned Cody (Josh Kelly) that he’d better be good to Sasha…. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) rumbled that Drew (Cameron Mathison) purposefully maneuvered Nina (Cynthia Watros) into her orbit. Willow confessed to Drew that she helped harbor Jason (Steve Burton) when he was a fugitive.
Gregory (Gregory Harrison) elicited a promise from Tracy (Jane Elliot) that she’d stand in for him at the wedding if need be, then convinced her to make the rehearsal dinner at Coney Island…. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) relayed to Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Stella (Vernee Watson) that Laura (Genie Francis) was advocating for Heather (Alley Mills)…. Anna (Finola Hughes) blasted Carly (Laura Wright) for revealing all to Brennan (Charles Mesure).
Tuesday, May 14
Anna and Jason considered the possibility that they could use Carly’s screw-up to their advantage. Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) called on Jason and relayed to him a message from Monica (Leslie Charleson) — she needs him to attend Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase’s (Joshua Swickard) wedding in her stead.
Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) put Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) on alert that Mr. Corinthos’s “wife” is on to them. Valentin and Anna dined together…. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gave Gregory some much-needed perspective on his relationship with Finn (Michael Easton).
Congressman McConkey floated the idea of Drew ceding him in the Senate…. Nina put Ava (Maura West) on notice…. John (Adam J. Harrington) confronted Ava and tried to tease out of her her endgame.
Wednesday, May 15
Tracy and Ned shared a warm familial moment… Tracy passed on a cherished heirloom belonging to Lila to Brook Lynn…. Finn confided his fear that Gregory would be unable to conduct the service to Elizabeth…. Drew offered to serve as Jordan’s escort seeing as how they were both flying solo.
Josslyn made the acquaintance of Brook Lynn’s cousin, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza)…. Jason and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) reunited…. Blaze and Kristina blanched when Sonny arrived at the church with Natalia on his arm.
Ned escorted Brook Lynn down the aisle…. Despite a strong start, Gregory faltered sending the congregation into a panic.
Thursday, May 16
Tracy and Violet rallied behind Gregory who swiftly recovered…. The betrothed exchanged vows — traditional and non –and were deemed husband and wife…. Violet (Jophielle Love) serenaded the happy couple.
Natalia continued to ruffle Blaze’s and Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) feathers…. Tracy and Gregory pondered the might have bens and concluded the present was gifty enough…. Drew and Jason shared an awkward cross…. Maxie (FINALLY) told Spinelli that she loved him…. Finn inadvertently sipped an alcoholic beverage.
Friday, May 17
Gio and Dex connected much to Sonny’s chagrin…. Brook Lynn and Chase share their first dance as husband and wife…. Spinelli agreed to help Sam investigate the FBI and uncover exactly what they have on Jason.
Brennan severely injured himself and pins the blame on another prisoner that he battered…. Sasha and Cody talked love, weddings, the past, present, and future and shared a most romantic twirl…. Sonny beat Dex to a pulp before Jason could intervene. A distraught Kristina took in the aftermath of the scene — and overheard Sonny threaten murder.
